As was expected Two and a Half Men the successful comedy series on CBS has been renewed for another season by the network.
Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher the two heavyweight stars of the show both signed for another season of the show, with Kutcher reportedly signing to received $700,000 for each episode.
Angus T. Jones however will not be returning to the show on a full time basis. Warner Bros Studios is amidst talks with the actor about him making recurring appearances on the series instead of being a series regular as he has been in past years.
Jones bashed the show infamously early in the season in a video on YouTube. That prompted speculation he might not be staying on the show. However, Nina Tassler the entertainment president of CBS said back in January that the actor and network had mended any broken fences from Jones’ outburst.
At the time of Jones’ video, Tassler said the actor was just 19 years old. She said she has a 24-year old son of her own. Her son, between the ages of 19 and 24, said plenty of things that she wished he had not, but at the end of the day, the best thing to happen was for cooler heads to prevail.
Jones has been a member of the show’s cast for a number of years and issued an apology to the public for his outburst. Tassler said that the network wanted him to return and Jones wanted to as well.
