Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum are expecting a new member of their family!
According to In Touch via The Hollywood Life, the couple who married in 2009 let their good news slipped during a recent evening social gathering with their close acquaintances.
An insider asserted that, “Jenna was telling friends at George Clooney’s Halloween party that she wasn’t drinking because she’s pregnant.”
The insider also mentioned that the 34-year-old Mrs. Tatum wanted to cap the “Halloween” night prematurely due to her recent condition.
“Jenna said she and Channing were going to make it an early night because she’s pregnant.” the source said.
The couple first met on the set of the 2006 movie “Step Up” after which they became exclusively dating each other. Four years after their union, they were blessed with a daughter whom they named Everly. She was born in London as the 35-year-old actor was filming The Wachowski’s “Jupiter Ascending.”
The “Magic Mike” heartthrob has been all praises for her wife in the way she has reared their first child.
“[But] Jenna is a super mom. There’s no other way to say it. She is there every single second, every single day. I love being a dad,” Tatum said to Vanity Fair.
“But I don’t know if I’m good at it,” the actor confessed.
According to him, Tatum shared that he loved having a child and getting to work with people he had always dreamed about.
His wife though who began as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson made it clear in an earlier interview with E! Online regarding their family plans prior to knowing that she was in expectant of a child.
“Yeah, yeah!” She said when asked about having more children. “I don’t know when, but we definitely want to.”
Channing Tatum is currently in the post-production of Quentin Tarantino’s American Western “The Hateful Eight” which is set for a Christmas day release.
