Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis star in “Jupiter Ascending.” Another Wachowski film set in the future will be seen on the big screen! The action Sci-Fi film is directed by Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski (“The Matrix”) and will be hitting theatres on July 18, 2014.
Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) has a dreary job cleaning other people’s houses but what she doesn’t know is that she is destined for great things. When Caine (Channing Tatum), an engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down, she finds out where she came from and she was given a new kind of reality. Jupiter’s genetic signature marks her as the next in line for a great inheritance that can change the balance of the universe.
The official trailer of the movie has been released and on according to MTV, on March 26, 2014, two new movie posters were released featuring the lead stars Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis.
Channing Tatum’s poster is very striking with those hot tattoos showing while he’s holding a big gun and behind him are some golden spheres which make it very Sci-Fi. Meanwhile, Kunis is more grounded on her movie poster, dressed down in a very simple manner as she stands behind golden spheres, too. But her poster depicts a metropolitan landscape behind her.
The posters look promising as well as the trailer and it looks like Warner Bros. will deliver this on their “mid-July simmer gold” slot. As we recall, their “Harry Potter” films, “Inception,” “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and two “Batman” sequels were some of their mid-July films that really raked in millions and millions of dollars worldwide and “Jupiter Ascending” being their pick for 2014 leaves us with such high hopes!
Oh and we are also considering the fact that Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis are the stars of “Jupiter Ascending,” and we all know that both of them are just sizzling hot! But that is just a bonus because it looks like such a thrilling film to watch out for in 2014, and we just can’t wait!
“Jupiter Ascending” will be released in U.S. theatres on July 18, 2014 and in the UK on July 25, 2014.
