Charlie Sheen is once again in the news. The actor wants to pen down his memoir and apparently, he is demanding a whopping 10 million USD for his tell-all book.
The actor, who is 50 years old, had revealed last month that he has been diagnosed with the HIV virus. Apparently, he has been toying with the idea of penning down his memoir and has approached many publishers. However, some of them are hesitating now at the whopping sum quoted by him.
One of the publishers even went on to say that since most of his life is now an open book before the public, there can’t be much that people already do not know about Sheen.
A veteran of one of the key publishing houses, who desired to remain anonymous, in case his company would like to publish Sheen’s book, shared on New York Post’s Page Six that Charlie Sheen’s show “Two And A Half Men” might have been a hilarious comedy but his demand of $10 million is funnier.
Much of the sordid details of Sheen’s life have been already been out in public. So what is now left to be revealed?
Charlie Sheen had earlier made a claim that poetry is in his “fingertips”. So he might not have a long waiting time for a book though he seems to have been flooded with offers.
Judith Regan, a well-known publisher seems to be quite interested and stated that they would love to publish Sheen’s autobiography in the form of an epic poem.
