Chicago Fire” Season 3 Episode 17 “Forgive You Anything” aired last Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 10:00 p.m. on NBC. In this episode, Paramedic Peter Mills (Charlie Bennet) found himself going against Lieutenant Kelly Severide’s (Taylor Kinney) old friend in order to get back his old spot back on the Rescue Squad. Meanwhile, Mouch (Christian Stolte) finally met his child, a daughter; and Lieutenant Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) got a huge renovation job. Meanwhile, Paramedic Sylvie Brett (Kara Kilmer) and Firefighter Candidate Gabriella “Gabby” Dawson (Monica Raymund), went on a girl’s night out, which made Sylvie realized several things about her relationship with Firefighter Joe Cruz (Joe Minoso). Read on to learn more about this episode.

Lieutenant Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) met up with former firefighter turned strip club owner, Jack Nesbitt (Eric Mabius). He wanted him to make a bid so that he could renovate the building adjacent to the club. At Paramedic Sylvie Brett’s (Kara Kilmer) apartment, she and Firefighter Candidate Gabriella “Gabby” Dawson (Monica Raymund) decided to have a girl’s night out. Meanwhile, before going to work, against Lieutenant Kelly Severide’s (Taylor Kinney) was approached by his old friend, Firefighter Scott Ryce, who told him that he was ready to work again.

At the station, Mouch was confronted by Emmet. He was the son whom Mouch was supposed to meet but stood up. Emmet then told him that it was his younger half-sister who was Mouch’s child. He told him that because of what he did, that he wouldn’t get to ever meet her. Severide then approached Chief Wallace Boden (Eammonn Walker) and recommended that Ryce fill up Rick Newhouse’s slot. It was Paramedic Peter Mill’s (Charlie Barnett) old slot, but before they could say anything else, they were interrupted by a call.

There, they discovered that a loose slab of concrete was crushing the driver of the van. Severide and Capp (Randy Flagler) managed to get him out safely, just in the nick of time, as the slab crushed the car as soon as Boden got Severide out.

Back at the firehouse, Boden told Severide that Ryce could join them for a shift. Afterwards, he was approached by Peter. He told him that he was going to get his physical at the end of the week. It meant that he might be able to get his slot on squad back sooner than he thought he would.

Later on, Sylvie invited Firefighter Joe Cruz (Joe Minoso) to go out dancing and drinking with her and Gabby, but he decided to stay home and watch a football game on the television.

Meanwhile, Mouch, encouraged by Boden and Firefighter David Herrmann (David Eigenberg) decided to meet up with his daughter. As the clinic refused to give him Emmet’s contact number, his girlfriend, Sergeant Trudy Platt (Amy Morton), managed to get it for him. He then tracked down Emmet to the restaurant that he worked at, and begged for a second chance. Because of this, Emmet allowed him to meet Lizzie, and they managed to meet up in a restaurant the next night.

Meanwhile, Ryce thanked Severide for giving him a chance to work with them. He informed him that Severide’s best friend, April Saxton (Yaya da Costa) was now working in the Emergency Room of Chicago Med. He then went over to say hello to her, but she refused to talk to him as she hadn’t forgiven him for something that he had done in the past.

Peter and Sylvie then got a call at a local theater, where a stagehand had been hit by a stage light, while he was fixing it, and was dangling from the scaffolding. Peter then managed to get up and saved him. She told Sylvie that he had felt no traces of vertigo at all. However, Severide told him off for “overstepping.” He should have waited for the rescue squad to come. Later that night, at Molly’s, Peter confronted Severide about his slot, but Severide told him that Ryce needed the job more than he did.

Meanwhile, Gabby and Sylvie enjoyed themselves at the different bars they went to.

The next morning, Severide apologized and told him that they had to wait as to what Boden would decide. Severide then went over to Chicago Med. He reminded April that he had bought Eminem tickets for her seventeenth birthday, and thanked her and her parents for everything that they had done for him back then. She then forgave him.

Later, Peter and Sylvie helped a man who had choked on a key. And Peter became disappointed when the doctor told him that he would get his results in a week’s time.

Later that night, Nesbitt told Casey that he had gotten the job, and the two celebrated. Meanwhile, at Molly’s, Sylvie told Gabby that she loved Cruz, but was afraid that she was falling back into old habits, and didn’t want that.

Also, it was revealed that Ryce’s wife had died a week before his incident happened, and that his wife had left him with a four year old son.
