“Chicago Fire” Season 3 Episode 1 “Always” will air on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, at 10:00 p.m. on NBC. In the season premiere, fans and viewers will finally learn who among the members of Firehouse 51 did not make it out alive. The episode will also deal with the aftermath of the explosion. WARNING! This article contains spoilers on “Chicago Fire” Season 3 Episode 1 “Always.” Read at your own risk.

According to the press release on Spoiler TV, “Always” will reveal how the members of Firehouse 51 deal and try to pull themselves back together after the fire and explosion in the warehouse in the Season 2 finale.

Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) becomes concerned about Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) when he goes missing for more than one week, prompting him to go after his colleague to discover where he has been. Meanwhile, Peter Mills (Charlie Barnett) learns something new about his family when Rick Newhouse (Edwin Hodge) reveals some unexpected news to him. While this is all happening, Christopher Hermann (David Eigenberg) and Otis (Yuri Sardarov) work together to come up with new goals for Molly’s, their bar.

The press release stated that the episode will also star Monica Raymund (Gabriella Dawson), Lauren German (Leslie Shay), Joe Minoso (Joe Cruz), and Christian Stolte (Mouch). Guest stars for the Season 3 premiere include Jon Seda (Antonio Dawson), Kenny Johnson, Randy Flagler (Capp) and Amy Morton (Sergeant Platt).

It looks like there will be some heart-stopping moments in the season premiere, as the official website of the show has released several pictures of the members of Firehouse 51 in and outside the warehouse which exploded and trapped them all inside.

There are pictures of Severide and Mills lying unconscious on the floor. However, two other pictures reassure us that they will be alright, as one picture shows Mills being helped out of the warehouse and another shows Casey and Severide looking down a hole in the floor.

It’s never dull in the day of a firefighter, and this is seen in one of the released pictures, of Casey and a woman, in front of a burning house. There will also be some relaxed moments, hopefully, as one picture shows Mouch (Christian Stolte) sitting on the couch with a dog and talking on his cell phone. Another picture features Leslie Shay (Lauren German) sitting on a couch with Severide, with some drinks.
