The fifth episode of the fourth season of “Chicago Fire” dealt blow after blow to fans and viewers alike, as things became a little bit complicated with Gabriela “Gabby” Dawson’s (Monica Raymund) pregnancy, and as Firehouse 51 almost lost one of their beloved sanctuaries- Molly’s, of which Gabby is also a big part of. It seems as if the storm cloud that is following the residents of Firehouse 51 will still be around to plague them in the upcoming episode, but rest assured that with every dark cloud comes a silver lining, which they will also realize and see.  WARNING: This article will contain spoilers for the upcoming episode of “Chicago Fire”. Read on to learn more about what the Firehouse’s ray of hope and sunshine will be in the upcoming episode.

The previous episode of “Chicago Fire” saw the entire Firehouse 51 come together and stand strong, under the wonderful leadership of acting Lieutenant Christopher Herrmann (David Eigenberg), as they weathered the storm of Gabriela “Gabby” Dawson’s (Monica Raymund) surgery and the loss of her baby, and the fact that they almost lost Molly’s due to a technicality.

However, thankfully, Gabby and Lieutenant Matthew “Matt” Casey’s (Jesse Spencer) relationship grew even stronger, and Firefighter Candidate Jimmy Borrelli (Steven R. McQueen) proved that he is definitely a part of their family.

The upcoming episode, “Regarding this Wedding”, according to both the press release  and promotional video released on Spoiler TV, will find Gabby, Chief Wallace Boden (Eammonn Walker), and Captain Dallas Patterson (Brian White) in difficult positions due to different reasons and circumstances.

It is seen that both Gabby and Boden will come under fire from Fire Chief Riddle (Fedric Lehne), who suggested that Gabby take additional leave days, and who wouldn’t allow Boden to use the house as a wedding venue for a couple whose wedding had just been unceremoniously been interrupted by a fire.

Meanwhile, Patterson, who had just begun settling into Firehouse 51 finds himself struggling between his ambitions and his loyalty to Firehouse 51 after Riddle tells him that there might be an opportunity for him to rise up the ranks soon as it seems like a Battalion Chief slot was going to be available pretty soon. However, this might mean trouble for Boden’s own future as a Battalion Chief.

Also, Riddle also went against Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney), despite all the good work he has put into being a fire fighter for Firehouse 51.

What do you think will happen next to Gabby, Severide and Boden? What do you think will Patterson do?  Let us know what you think in the comments below!
