Chris Martin’s ex-flame and current belle will be included in the same venture. Yes, you read it right. The amiable relationship between Chris Martin and his estranged wife, Gwyneth Paltrow has never gone down even after their official divorce. This time the Coldplay frontman seems to be really lucky, as Paltrow will collaborate with Annabella Wallis, Martin’s current girlfriend to shape up a new album by Coldplay.
“A Head Full of Dreams”, the fresh musical venture by Martin’s band is just a few weeks away from being released and it includes some big time collaborators, including Beyoncé. Frontman Chris Martin just announced that there will be even more interesting guest vocalists, including Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter, Martin and Paltrow’s children Apple and Moses, apart from his ex-wife Paltrow and current love interest, Wallis.
When inquired about why he chose to have both past and current loves be part of the album, the band’s frontman tells The Wall Street Journal that with the passage of time, he emerges as a matured person and he values every one in his life, as this album creates a chance for him to make the all important faces assimilated.
He expressed that the “choir” idea started with his two kids who came to record the tune after school hours and Blue Ivy Carter recorded her part in New York when her mom Beyoncé was in the studio.
Notably, Paltrow appears on the song “Everglow,” which is a ballad about a relationship’s enduring spark—something that’s obviously relating to the former couple as they maintained their marriage for over 10 years before their “conscious uncoupling.”
Chris Martin said that though sometimes he wishes his personal life wasn’t so closely followed by the media outlets, as a composer he likes that his audience can connect to what his songs are about.
