Disney just released the trailer for the much-awaited “Cinderella” movie, and it was definitely what we wanted and more! The live-action adaptation stars Lily James, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter and “Game of Thrones” star Richard Madden.

The film is director Kenneth Branagh’s modern take to the famous fairy tale. This is the second trailer we’ve seen since November. It shows off pretty much the same hits of the fairytale everyone knows, so it doesn’t leave much to the imagination.

As previously reported by Empire Online, the story begins with Young Ella (Lily James) seeing her father remarry following the tragic death of her mother. Enters her wicked stepmother Lady Tremaine (Cate Blanchett) and her daughters Anastasia (Holliday Grainger) and Drizella (Sophie McShera) into the family home. Unfortunately, when Ella’s father unexpectedly dies, she finds herself at the mercy of a jealous and cruel new family. Her Fairy Godmother (Helena Bonham Carter) rescues her and helps her find true love in the form of a charming young prince (Richard Madden).

Unlike “Maleficent” and “Alice in Wonderland,” Disney opted to stay true to the 1950s classic with the faithful remake.

“Cinderella” is slated to come to theaters near you starting March 2015.

Even after filming, James was still over the moon for portraying the lead role in the Disney classic. “The Downtown Abbey” star says playing the part was a dream come true.

“Every girl wants to be a princess but the reality of playing a Disney one is, ‘OH MY GOD!’ I'm having so many dream-come-true moments I can't even count them. Getting Downton was one of them. I'd watched the show from the start and loved it so I couldn't believe it when I got the job. Now to play a Disney princess is just silly really. It's hard to comprehend. I don't want to be one of those actors who can't admit it's exciting,” she gushes to the MailOnline.
