According to Deadline, “The Comeback” is officially coming back and HBO has just released a teaser for the show. It will mark the return of our beloved Valerie Cherish (Lisa Kudrow) after nine years. Read on to learn more about it.
The story revolves around about an aging Hollywood D-Lister Valerie Cherish and her goal to return and claim her fame back and if possible, be even more famous. In the teaser, Valerie came shouting the phrase “Give her another take!” among the throngs of celebrity paparazzi. It looks like the feisty D-lister is still fighting her way to becoming the kind of celebrity that she always wants to be.
There is also a voiceover during the teaser that recalls Valerie started to vex their viewers in order to return again. “The Comeback” is a comedy series that behind the scenes of a TV show, how it works, what actors have to go through to steal the spotlight and make it out there.
The series have been revived in May 2014 while news about the show coming back have begun circulating early this year. Kudrow teased the reporters about it during the Television Critics Association last July 2014. She said that they will present episodes of the show that will answer the question:“Who are you to yourself and what are you presenting to the world?”

“The Comeback” last aired in 2005 and it wasn’t renewed for a second season until this year. It returns this November 2014 on HBO.
