This year's MTV EMAs celebrated its 20th anniversary. The annual music ceremony at the SSE Hyrdro in Glasgow, Scotland on Nov. 9, 2014 was hosted by the hip-hop star Nicki Minaj, who also took home an award. Meanwhile, One Direction emerged as the big winner. Read on for further details.
While Minaj performed medley of songs at the annual ceremony, the event also featured performances from Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Enrique Iglesias, Charli XCX, Calvin Harris, Kiesza, Royal Blood, Alicia Keys and iconic Irish rock group U2.
