“Constantine” isn’t over for now! According to Comicbook Resources, NBC has just pushed back its premiere at a later date and has changed its timeslot. The show will return on Jan.16, 2015 and has been moved to an 8 p.m. timeslot from 10 p.m. Through this, the network wants to see the show’s performance on Friday nights because this might just be exactly what the show needs.
NBC is really trying their best to save the show and help it gain more exposure so as to get ordered for a second season. “Constantine” is definitely a DC classic and it’s something that a network would fight for. And personally, it has a great storyline and it really just needs more exposure. Let’s see how this new timeslot’s fit the show.
Moreover, executive producer Daniel Cerone has expressed his gratitude towards NBC that’s been handling his show pretty well. He also strongly believes that the show will get picked up for a second season but of course, it will all come down to the ratings that it will acquire on the coming days.
