Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry played reel life lovers in their TV show “Friends” and now, fans are abuzz with news that the two have taken it to real life. Are Monica and Chandler dating?

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, that like their characters in their former sitcom, the two have started a secret relationship. Monica and Chandler were together and didn’t let their flat mates know—Cox and Perry are speculated to have developed as lovers and are keeping it from—well, the world.

The information comes after Cox split with her partner of two years, Snow Patrol band member Johnny McDaid.

Cox and Perry worked together on “Friends” from 1994 to 2004. Their characters Monica Geller​ and Chandler Bing spent most of the show’s fifth season hiding their relationship from their friends, after they got together at Ross’ (Monica’s brother) wedding. They eventually got married, adopted twins and were shown to have left their apartment in New York to start over in the suburbs in the show’s final episode.

Sources say that Cox, 51 called Perry, 46 after her split with McDaid, for support. “Matthew invited her over to talk one night, and they ended up hooking up!”, the source added.

Cox was previously married to to actor David Arquette​ (from 1999 to 2012) and have an 11-year-old daughter, Coco.​ Perry was recently romantically linked to actress Lizzy Caplan, whom he broke up with in 2012.
