We, the fans of “Criminal Minds” have another one month to see our favorite police procedural on the small screen. Although the script writers and showrunners are silent about the upcoming season’s storylines, but a few actors of the series are more enthusiastic to give some hints to their fans. Read below to know what could happen to the members of the “mind hunter” team.
As stated by CBS, the season 11’s premiere episode will see Aaron Hotchner (played by Thomas Gibson), the team leader of Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) interviewing different candidates to fill the space created after Kate Callahan (played by Jennifer Love Hewitt) left the team. On the other hand, the team is reportedly hunting for a serial killer who leaves behind typical evidence that raises finger to someone is all set to take revenge.
Matthew Gray Gubler, who is also popular for his role in “500 Days of Summer” and “Life After Beth,” shared a photograph of the cast and crew members of “Criminal Minds” with the fans on Instagram.
The premiere episode of “Criminal Minds” season 11, as speculated by Yibada, is also likely to have an agitating or bewildering scene. The character played by Gubler, Dr. Spencer Reid will have a crucial minute. However, Tara Lewis (to be played by Aisha Tyler) is said to be the romantic partner of Dr. Reid and she will bring a new element to the police procedural drama.
“He gets to do a takedown Reid style, which is just using his brain with a physical thing that’s really disturbing — you have to turn away. It’s not a standoff with a gun, it’s a Reid version of a takedown,” Erica Messer, the executive producer said.
TV Line has aired the answers given by Michael Ausiello, Founder and Editor-In-Chief, to the fans of different TV series. He mentioned the doubtful probability of Candace Hammer to reprise her role as Will Einstein.
“There are no plans at this time to bring back the forensics whiz (played by Aquarius‘ Candace Hammer) that Reid met in February — though Gubler is currently ‘hopeful’ that his brainiac lands a(ny) new girlfriend ‘in the future,’” Ausiello said.
“Criminal Minds” season 11 is all set to premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015 at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
