The first look at Stephen Curry’s latest venture into the world of kicks and sneakers has been released and it is a thing to rejoice for sneaker collectors and NBA fans. Lately, the new designs for “The Under Armour Curry 2” have been creating a lot of buzz among fans of the Golden State Warriors’ MVP. When will it be released?
According to Australia Network News, the newest line of shoes of the reigning NBA MVP, Stephen Curry, has yet to be revealed officially to the public. In the meantime, celebrity and sports photographer Cassy Athena got the chance to take exclusive photos of the most-awaited kicks at the Team USA minicamp in Las Vegas.
The first pair was seen in use on the court during the camp of Curry 2 as they were worn by The Golden State Warriors point guard.
Stephen Curry’s upcoming line “The Curry 2″ does not look much different from its earlier version, “The Curry 1.” However, according to Sneaker News, an additional lockdown support is provided with unique ventilated larger external and upper heel counters in the new version.
In another report from Sneaker News, another pair of the color way was also revealed to be released in the line of the signature shoes. For the MVP in this coming season, the pair is expected to be an “A Way” sneaker. The website described that the bold look features grey, yellow and neon line accent with a black-based upper. It is expected that Curry will be wearing them for the upcoming season of road games.
New colorways for “The Curry 1” are yet to be released so “The Curry 2” is not expected to be released before that. It is also expected that the new upcoming pair will have a higher price tag as compared to the current pair.
Apart from “The Curry 2,” the photographer also got the chance to click images of signature sneakers of other NBA stars including Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and John Wall, which are all custom-made.
