Dakota Johnson has recent revelations about the upcoming “Fifty Shades Darker” movie. Read below for the full details.
Sam Taylor-Johnson, the director of the film has left the franchise and Johnson admit that she felt afraid when she left.
“There was a moment of being afraid because I didn’t know what it was going to be like. I had an experience with Sam and then it all went away,” Johnson told Empire.
The good news is that former director is now replaced by James Foley who is best known for “House of Cards.” Despite the fact that she felt afraid, Johnson said that she is now very happy that she is working with Foley. She expressed her excitement on working with her because she knows that she’s a talented director. For her, she is thankful for the wonderful opportunity to be working with Foley.
Also, Johnson revealed that now that the “Fifty Shades Darker” movie has gotten a new director, the sequel will have a different spin than “Fifty Shades of Grey.” She kept mum on what kind of “spin” this is but judging from Foley’s work on “House of Cards,” we know we can expect such amazing twists and turns that will definitely blow our minds out.
Johnson plays the female protagonist opposite Jamie Dornan’s Christian Grey. The movie franchise is based on E.L. James bestselling novels.
“Fifty Shades Darker” will premiere in the UK on Feb. 10, 2017.
The upcoming sequels “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed” are aiming to break box office records just like in “Fifty Shades of Grey.”
