‘Dance Moms Australia’ Is Finally Confirmed

Good news for Aussie “Dance Moms” fans! It was confirmed during the show’s Season 5 reunion that the cast heads to Sydney, Australia. Read on for details.

During the reunion episode entitled “Seeing Stars,” the upcoming Australia special of “Dance Moms” was confirmed. It will serve as additional two episodes for the fifth season. Lifetime airs the specials entitled “Dance Moms Down Under, Part 1 & 2” on Tuesdays, May 19 & 26, 2015.

Abby Lee Dance Company’s (ALDC) queen, Abby Lee Miller, proudly announced that she always takes her team to “a lot of places” for master classes and showcases. The Moms also seconded Miller’s confirmation that everybody in ALDC is going to Australia. It was also revealed that the trip will also include the newbie JoJo Siwa.

However, Holly Frazier admitted that not all ALDC members are going to appear in Australia. IBTimes reported that Holly’s daughter, Nia, was exempted in some events. Holly claimed that Miller does not want to “embrace” Nia’s talents. That is why she got more determined to look for opportunities herself.

Holly is right because in a promo teaser for the upcoming episode, Nia is performing with Siwa alone in Australia. The sneak peek also showed ALDC appearing at the ASTRA Awards 2015, which eventually leads to a fight between Kira Girard and Melissa Ziegler.

Previously on “Dance Moms,” the cast gathered for their own version of recaps and for some attempts of reconciliation. Miller and Holly eventually butt heads after recalling their past fights. Not only that, Miller was also stressed because of her ultimate rivals, Jeanette Cota and Cathy Nesbitt-Stein.

“Dance Moms” Season 5 airs every Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. on Lifetime.
