Nick Carter revealed that he has finally signed on to participate in the “Dancing With the Stars” (DWTS) Season 21. Carter has accepted to join the “DWTS” cast after four years in spite of the continuous offers from the show. Read what the Backstreet Boys singer has said regarding this in Us Weekly’s latest issue.
Carter talked about the reasons why he chose to do the show, in the latest issue of Us Weekly. The two main reasons are Joey Fatone and Aaron Carter.
Fatone, who participated in “DWTS” Seasons 4 and 15, is the person who advised Carter to take part in the show. The Backstreet Boys singer revealed that his rival-turned-friend Fatone talks about the show all the time. He also said that the Bravo All Stars pal inspired and advised him to join the show.
“It’s a great experience, it keeps you in shape and it’ll teach you a lot of stuff,” Fatone said as per Carter’s statement.
Singer Aaron Carter, the little brother of the Backstreet Boys singer, did a great job when he appeared in the Season 9 of the show. Indeed, he got the fifth place with partner Karina Smirnoff during the season. Carter revealed that he wanted to do even better in the show than what his brother did.
“I’m excited,” Carter told Us weekly about being a part of the “Dancing With the Stars” Season 21, reported International Business Times.
The source further reported that Victor Espinoza and Bindi Irwin are officially announced to compete on the show’s upcoming episode on Sept. 14, 2015.
According to ZIMBIO, Carter has high chances of winning the Mirrorball Trophy, as he is not a stranger to dancing.
Even though Nick Carter has danced with his Backstreet Boys bandmates, he feels little shy and less confident about his dancing skills. However, he hopes that the show could make him a better dancer and would do “wonders for his fitness.”
