News headlines were chock full of shockers this week, and the latest bombshell to hit are allegations that a "Dancing With the Stars" (DWTS) producer is suspected to have been supplying illegal drugs to "DWTS" cast members.
Los Angeles police are currently investigating a "DTWS" producer for his role as the ABC show’s main supplier of illegal substances, particularly to its dancers. The LAPD was able to obtain revealing text messages between the producer and the reality show’s performers that they plan to use in their ongoing investigation.
Most of the text messages indicate orders from dancers requesting deliveries to the Hollywood studio where "DWTS" rehearsals take place.
“I got moon rocks, it’s the highest form of Molly. Pure crystal,” a text is said to read from the suspected supplier, as published on Radar Online.
In April 2014, another text reads: “Hey babe! Can I get some nose candy from you? Need it tomorrow if possible.”
The police began its probe in November 2014, just as "DWTS" 18th season finale started. No arrests have been made as of yet.
BBC Worldwide Productions, the show’s production outfit, admitted that the LAPD haven’t disclosed any information about their ongoing investigation. The outfit further told the press they had no comments on the drug supply allegations.
Incriminating text messages from the "DTWS" dancers show a widespread exchange of illegal drugs, with one borrowing off another’s hits when a certain substance wasn’t available.
“He (the producer) should be fired. The amount of drugs he’s given to everyone is insane.” An insider is reported to have told Radar Online, as published on Inquisitr.
Apparently, almost all dancers on "DTWS" have issues with illegal substance abuse, and according to the same insider, even some of the celebrity contestants are said to consider the producer-supplier as their go-to guy.
“They think that they have things without consequences, no repercussions. It’s a great lesson for every one,” the insider continued.
While this disheartening news of a "DTWS" drug den is a depressing low note to the holiday season, watch this lighter side of the show via Ellen Degeneres instead:
