Another happy couple has just announced that another bundle of joy is underway. This time, it’s the second child of “The Originals” star Daniel Gillies and his wife, “She’s All That” star Rachael Leigh Cook.

In a statement, the happy and expecting couple released exclusively by E! News, Gillies and Cook proudly relayed the news of their baby number two.

“We’re as happy as we were surprised by this wonderful news! We haven’t slept since 2013 and welcome advice from all parents who survived Two Under Two,” Gillies and Cook said in a statement.

Gillies and Cook were married in August 2004, though they opted not to have a child so soon after their marriage. In a previous interview with People, Cook said that both of them wanted to do so much more, such as traveling and accomplishing professional goals.

Finally, after almost nine years of marriage, the couple announced the upcoming arrival of their first child.

In September 2013, Gillies tweeted of the birth of their daughter,  Charlotte Easton Gillies: “it’s a girl. the tiny new empress of my everything. she’s immaculate. we’re delirious.”

Gillies shared some stories about his daughter during the PaleyFest held in Hollywood in March 2014. He says that despite his only getting to see Charlotte once a week because of work, he is definitely very happy of having her.

Presently, Gillies is on The CW’s “The Originals,” starring as Elijah Mikaelson. His wife, Rachael, on the other hand, is on TNT’s “Perception,” starring as Kate Moretti. The series’ third season will soon be having its new episodes aired in February 2015.
