“Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe knows why people mistake him for Elijah Wood. Read on to know what he said about it.
According to People Magazine, 26-year-old British actor Daniel Radcliffe totally gets why people confuse him for “The Lord of the Rings” star Elijah Wood. On Monday, November 16, Radcliffe appeared on the “WTF” podcast with Marc Maron. In the said show, he admitted that he is commonly mistaken for the 34-year-old actor and that he totally understands the confusion. As a matter of fact, he also couldn’t help but notice the similarities between him and Wood.
“It’s because the idea of us is the same. We’re both kind of short guys with big blue eyes and brown hair. And we did fantasy movie that came out at the same time,” Radcliffe explained.
Did you know that Radcliffe prepared a perfect response for people who come up to him to ask if he is Elijah Wood?
“If you just come up and say, ‘Are you Elijah Wood?’ I will say no, and I won’t tell you who I am,” he joked.
Radcliffe became real-life friends with Elijah Wood but he admitted that he only met him once. He is also hoping to work on a project with Wood in the future. He also added that they can play the role of doppelgangers! What a great idea!
“I’m thinking of trying to write some sort of mistaken identity thing where one of us kills the other,” Radcliffe said.
