Daniel Radcliffe may well be the face of the Harry Potter franchise. Even four years after the last movie debuted, he remains the most recognisable faces representing Potterverse. And so even if he is not technically appearing in the Harry Potter prequel film “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” people can’t help but ask him about it.
The 26-year old Daniel Radcliffe sat down with E! News to promote his latest film, “Victor Frankenstein.” The online source cannot help but ask him about the Harry Potter spin-off movie “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.” The actor joked that he had been asked about it a lot of times and even if he is excited to see it, he unfortunately cannot dish out any added information about it.
“I can barely keep myself in this chair. Yes, I am very excited but I’ve also been asked about [‘Fantastic Beasts’ a lot, and I don’t have any information to give unfortunately,” he says.
The English actor also admitted to seeing he first look at the upcoming film and added that Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander “looks great,” to which “Victor Frankenstein” co-star James McAvoy kidded, “But not as good as you.”
While there are talks of a Hermione Granger cameo in “Fantastic Beasts,” it is confirmed that Harry Potter won’t be showing his face. But the film does promise three more heroes aside from Newt Scamander that fans can look forward to getting to know. Sisters Tina (Katherine Waterston) and Queenie Goldstein (Alison Sudol) and No-Maj Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler) are going to join Newt in his big adventure in 1926 New York. A mix of seven old and new creatures are also set to make an appearance, with the Bowtruckle even living right inside the main character’s pocket.
Check out what makes “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” an exciting film when it debuts in cinemas on Nov. 18, 2016.
