Fans of the MARVEL and Netflix shows didn’t have to wait too long to be satisfied with another great television series from the two companies thanks to the fact that “Jessica Jones” was released just a couple of weeks ago. However, those who have already finished the superb series are now wondering how long it will be to learn a little bit more about the second season of “Daredevil”, which will be coming out next year. Thankfully, fans and viewers of the “Daredevil” series and of the Man Without Fear need not wait too long, as a new description of the latest trailer has been shared, and which also features one of the most anticipated characters for the second season, Frank Castle or The Punisher (Jon Bernthal). WARNING: This article will contain spoilers for the upcoming second season of MARVEL’s and Netflix’s “Daredevil”, and The Punisher’s first small screen debut and his first interaction with Daredevil.
One of the biggest assets that the comic book fandom has is the fact that the fans are very generous when it comes to sharing information with each others, especially as sometimes, exclusive sneak peeks and trailers of television shows and films are often shown, albeit with tight security, in comic conventions, and sometimes, they show different clips or trailers convention to convention.
Just a few days ago, a very generous fan who attended the Comic Con Experience in Brazil posted a blow by blow account of the exclusive new “Daredevil” Season 2 trailer on his Tumblr account. It was especially as this trailer provided an exclusive first look at Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle or The Punisher, and also features Daredevil’s first fight with the complicated antihero.
According to the fan’s Tumblr post, the teaser trailer shows Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), also known as Daredevil, wearing the same costume he had on at the end of the first season when he took on Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin or Wilson Fisk.
He then entered a refrigerator like a room where several people were being hung from the ceiling, like slabs of fresh meat.
Using his radar sense, Matt managed to figure out which of the men were still alive, and after laying him on the floor, discovered that only one man caused of all this.
The scene then cut to The Punisher, on a rooftop, preparing his rifle to get a shot at a woman standing on top of another rooftop. However, before he could take her out with a single shot, Daredevil appeared behind him and kicked The Punisher’s gun out of his hands while fighting with him.
The scene was then cut shot and was replaced by the logo of Daredevil, and the year 2016.
If this wasn’t enough to get people and fans excited for the debut of The Punisher on the acclaimed Netflix series, Joe Quesada, MARVEL’s Chief Creative Officer, in a recent interview with IGN, teased that fans of The Punisher will love Bernthal’s iteration of the character, and mentioned that his Punisher seems like the character leaped from the pages of the comic books onto the small screen.
