Steven Yeun’s name is still noticeably absent in last week’s “The Walking Dead” opening credits. This lead many to speculate that maybe AMC has really done the unthinkable: kill off fan favourite Glenn Rhee. But wait, is Glenn not the only fan favourite dying this season?
“The Walking Dead” season six returns with episode number six this Sunday. Titled “Always Accountable,” the episode will seemingly focus back on the trio (assuming Glenn still won’t be showing up in the episode) left behind by Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln).
In a promo clip posted by Promo and Preview on Youtube, it looks like the trio will be split into two groups, with Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) being in one group and Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) running off on his own. On his own, Daryl will be trapped and put in grave danger.
According to “The Waking Dead” spoiler account Spoiling Dead Fans, episode six will be very Daryl-centric. He breaks away from the group when an unknown group attacks him, Abe, and Sasha as they are leading a her of walkers away from Alexandria as was planned. A guy named Dwight will be knocking him out and separating him from the two. The walker survivor character will then wake up tied and bound by his three captors.
Eventually, Daryl escapes but his captors still catch up with them. We’ll leave the rest of the details out so those who want an element of surprise for Sunday’s episode. Those who want to check out the spoilers, just click on the link above.
Thankfully, it does not seem like Daryl will be dying, at least in the upcoming episode. But it also seems that the walker television series is also not going to answer the question of whether Glenn is alive or not.
