Fans of the longest-running drama series “Days of Our Lives” may be saying their farewell again to yet another character. Serena Mason, played by Melissa Archer, was rumored to be axed out from the series for lacking rapport with the viewers.
Earlier this year, with much excitement, Melissa Archer was announced to join the cast of “Days of Our Lives” as she entered Salem as a medical examiner named Serena Mason. Serena shared a very sexy past with Eric Brady before he became a Catholic priest. Serena, however, brought a secret with her about this while elephant statue Eric had displayed in his house, which later was given to Parker, Dr. Daniel Jonas’ son.
Apparently, fans of “Days of Our Lives” have outgrown the never-ending story of Serena on the soap. Months have already passed, however; fans still have no idea what she is really up to. Big heads of “Days of Our Lives” seem to have finally decided to vamp up the story and get rid of Serena’s character.
Meanwhile, as Soaps previously reported, fans can look forward to Stephen Nichols and Peter Reckell returning to the series as Steve “Patch” Johnson and Bo Brady. Spoilers revealed that they return to Salem to fix things with the ex-wives, Kayla Johnson and Hope Brady, and will also come back with their families.
Finally, “Days of Our Lives” takes in the right direction as it cleans its story by getting back on track and getting rid of some mess which is airing currently. Loyal viewers also hope for the show’s ratings to skyrocket and bring back again fans that strayed way when the show loses EJ DiMera, James Scott’s Sami Brady and Alison Sweeney.
