Peter Francis James of “Boardwalk Empire” fame is the latest name to be included in the upcoming DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Read below for further details.

According to a report from Comic Book, the 59-year-old actor will portray a noteworthy protagonist in the persona of Dr. Aldus Boardman. The said professor along with being connected to St. Roch University is also adept in the antiquities of both Hawkman and Hawkgirl.

Dr. Boardman’s academic know-how will associate him also closely with the main antagonist of the new superhero series, the immortal villain Vandal Savage played by Danish actor Casper Crump (Above the Street, Below the Water). The professor will be the main key as his studies with Prince Khufu (Hawkman) and Chayara (Hawkgirl) will directly tie them with the aforementioned protagonist. However, the Legends team will acquire an undisclosed data which will straight away make the professor a vital part of the team.

James has been active in the comic book adaptation set-up. He was part of Vertigo’s The Losers in 2010. ‘The Pack’ actor also had a regular appearance in “As the World Turns”, “Royal Pains” and “Law and Order”.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow also signed Mr. Robot break-out actress Stephanie Corneliussen who played Joanna Wellick in the drama-thriller. The actress is set out to play Soviet physicist turned superheroine the Negative Woman as reported by TVLine.

The website defined the new addition as a fervent nationalist for her homeland of “Mother Russia”. This account of her will probably serve as a formidable story arc for the series. The Legends will come across her as they seek out Vandal Savage in Russia wherein at first they are doubtful of her connections with the villain. The Atom (Brandon Routh) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) will both rival for this newly found female in a bid to shaken the balance of war.
