Here comes exciting news for the fans of the highly anticipated 20th Century Fox’s “Deadpool.” A new trailer of the 2016 film would be airing on ESPN on Christmas Day, during an NBA game.
Based on a report from CBM, the new “Deadpool” trailer would air during the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Los Angeles Clippers game airing on ESPN at 10:30 PM PST. This is clear as the promo showed Kobe Bryant in the background.
An ABC promo indicated by Rob Liefield, “Deadpool” creator, on Instagram, also confirmed that one of the three new trailers of the 2016 film would premiere on Christmas Day.
Moreover, one of the three new trailers would be short teaser that is expected to be shown in IMAX theaters this week, ahead of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” movie, according to the above source and SuperHeroHype.
“Deadpool” has been marketed to the level it deserves after the film’s production. Indeed, Ryan Reynolds has been fruitful in promoting the movie through Twitter with a series of “humorous tweets.”
Reynolds stars as Wade Wilson / Deadpool – “the Merc with a Mouth” in the movie. The film also features T.J. Miller as Weasel, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Ed Skrein as Ajax, and Morena Baccarin as Copycat. The film directed by Tim Miller also features mutant Colossus character.
However, Daniel Cudmore would not do the character. Moreover, chances are that “Hugh Jackman might cameo as Wolverine” as per Reynolds.
