In 2013, Fox developed a show but they did not push through with it. “Delirium” is a TV shows which focuses on a society that is a non-believer when it comes to love. Even though Fox did not push through with the release of the said series, that doesn’t mean that people who have anticipated the show since last year will not be able to see it, because we have some good news for you! “Delirium” got picked up by WIGS and Hulu.
According to Entertainment Weekly, WIGS and Hulu are bringing “Delirium’s” pilot online but only for a month, though. The show stars Emma Roberts who plays the role of a 17-year old girl who lives in a place where people don’t believe in love. But the irony of it all is that she fell in love.
“Delirium” is based on the young adult novel by Lauren Oliver. The show was set aside to make way for two Fox TV series “Sleepy Hollow” and “Almost Human.”
The news of a “Delirium” TV series in 2013 made fans of the novel anticipate for it, but they were let down when the pilot did not air on the network. However, these things happen because TV networks do offer a lot of pilots but then later change their minds on which shows should be made into a TV series. These networks may have available time slots to fit in pilot airings but as it happens, some pilots never really air and don’t get picked up by a network. That is exactly what happened with this Emma Roberts’ show.
“Delirium” will air for a month on Hulu, while WIGS has released a video clip of the show to give you a taste of what it has to offer. Watch it below:
