Demi Lovato recently gave a heart rendering performance. We are talking about her covering “Hello”, Adele’s latest hit single track. Lovato gave an extremely emotional performance at the Fall Ball in Seattle.
Lovato, 25, wowed her audience when she delivered her own rendition of the famous chart-topping number. She successfully hit each note of the single and could be seen almost close to tears.
“Hello” is Adele’s first new single since the last three years. The singer who has a unique distinction of winning a Grammy Award for a record-breaking 10-times had delivered her own exceptional performance of this single at the BBC One special, where she performed the song absolutely live. She showcased the hit number of hers on Thursday, November 5.
This is not the only time that Lovato has touched a chord within her audiences from her emotional performance. The ex-Disney star, whose latest hit album titled “Confident’” was released last month, also spoke about her unique relationship with Patrick Lovato, her estranged father.
Patrick died in the year 2013. One of Lovato’s songs “Father” from her new album describes the singer’s complicated relationship with her late dad.
Demi Lovato confessed that she went through varying conflicting emotions when her dad passed away, as he was abusive to her. The singer of “Cool for the Summer” said so recently in a behind-the-scenes video.
Lovato said that her father was mean. He was not capable of raising his family. She attributed his failure to do so because of the mental illness he was suffering from.
When she got to know that it was not entirely her dad’s fault, it saddened her and she wanted to pen down her thoughts about it. She wanted to process her complicated thoughts.
Demi Lovato has also been candid in the past about the struggles she had to go through for her bipolar disorder, eating disorders, self-harm, and substance abuse. She had to go to a rehab center in 2011 to seek professional guidance on these several issues.
