Like most teams, Denver Nuggets are also looking to revamp their team with fresh players. But it is still hard to predict who they might look to trade in the next few months. Some rumors claim that it will be Kenneth Faried while others think that Danilo Gallinari will be traded.
Denver Nuggets has at least two tradeworthy assets in the form of Kenneth Faried and Danilo Gallinari. Kenneth Faried has proved his mettle time and again as a power forward, and is well on his way to becoming a star in his own right. He has been much sought after his Team USA gold medal stint in the FIBA World Cup. When the Denver Nuggets had problems, everybody generally assumed that Kenneth Faried will be shopped.
However new rumors show that another player has aroused much interest among other teams. The Italian small forward, Danilo Gallinari is fast becoming a sought after commodity himself. It is rumored that both the Memphis Grizzlies and the Boston Celtics have shown remarkable interest in the small forward.
It is a given that the Denver Nuggets will put the Italian player in the spotlight next season. He and Faried, along with Wilson Chandler, will have to lead the team into better sports next season while other players, most of them young rookies, will look to transition into more professional game play.
There aren’t a lot of proven scorers on the Nugggets’ team. They will therefore rely on Gallineri to score more often. With Lawson gone, the team coach will probably ask Gallinari and Mudiay to score, but it’s not going to be easy. Denver Nuggets may not have the chops to keep Gallinari, but they sure as hell will try to keep him.
