If their old manager is to be believed, the “Destiny’s Child” singers are going to get their own movie. The biopic is likely to be produced by Sony pictures if the rumors are believed.
Even though “Destiny’s Child” disbanded ages ago, their fans are still hopeful that the girls will come out with a new album this year. Now Beyonce’s dad, Matthew Knowles, who also happens to be the group’s manager, has made it clear that a “Destiny’s Child” biopic is in consideration. He says that the group is looking to get together for the biopic.
The acclaimed singer, Beyonce’s dad, Matthew Knowles, has big plans for his girl group, “Destiny’s Child.” The girl group may have disbanded in 2004, but they do get together to do stuff together like they did for the Super Bowl half-time gig in 2013.
The group, which includes Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, had disbanded on amicable terms and the girls have always claimed to be the best of friends and have always “got each other’s back.” So it isn’t surprising that the girls are looking forward to getting their own biopic in the future.
The news of the “Destiny’s Child” biopic isn’t new. The Sony leaks from 2014 also had documents that seemed to point to the fact that the biopic was being considered. Now that Beyonce’s dad and one time “Destiny’s Child” manager, Matthew Knowles, has confirmed the news, the fans can expect the news to have some substance. Apparently, the rumor has, after all, turned out to be true.
The girls have always shown solidarity through it all. They have done many gigs together even after disbanding in 2004.
