“Devil’s Knot” Synopsis:
The police identify three teens; alias the West Memphis Three. The truth may perhaps be more spine-chilling and cryptic as Pamela Hobbs, mother of Stevie Branch and investigator Ron Lax believe all is not as it surfaces.
On May 5, 1993, three 8-year-old boys named Stevie Branch, Christopher Byers, and Michael Moore) went missing while playing in the woods. The next day their brutally beaten and bound bodies were found the next day after a thorough search. The devout community and police department quickly accused that the murders were the work of a satanic cult due to the brutal and evident sexual natures of the criminal act.
A month later, 17-year-old Jessie Misskelley Jr. arrested and he confessed the crime after four hours of interrogation then two other teenagers named 18-year-old Damien Echols, 16-year-old Jason Baldwin were arrested. Professional investigator discovered something far scarier and the story becoming more appalling and mindboggling.
