Susan Lucci who plays Genevieve in “Devious Maids” talks about the drama between her and BFF Zoila, played by Judy Reyes. In “Devious Maids” Season 3, Genevieve and Zoila’s friendship hit a rough patch when Genevieve’s boyfriend, Dr. Zeff (John O’Hurley) moved in, someone who doesn’t seem keen on their friendship and on Zoila herself. Lucci let us in a few details and some spoilers on what’s going to happen in Season 3 on the hit Lifetime series:

Zoila has moved out of the house and Lucci said, “It’s going to be a big emptiness in the house. They have been fighting a lot recently. It’s not going to be easy. Will Genevieve do her own laundry? I don’t know what’s going to happen! But more than that, there’s great friendship between Zoila and Genevieve. So certainly, I think they are going to miss each other.”

Fans are also doubtful about Dr. Zeff’s presence in Genevieve’s life and how she let her in so quickly. Lucci said, she thinks that Genevieve’s boyfriend is being true to her and genuinely cares about her. She also said that Zoila thinks so, too but she’s annoyed with him so that fact seem to go unnoticed. Lucci also noted that Zoila has always been annoyed with all the men that Genevieve’s been with.

Lucci also talked about the upcoming episodes of “Devious Maids” Season 3, “The show is full of surprised and twists and turns that we as cast don’t see coming and I think that makes it very fun to watch.”

Indeed, “Devious Maids” has a reputation for constantly shocking its fans every episode and this is one of the reasons why it has a huge fanbase – the show keeps on getting them hooked! Its twists and turns can really leave your mouths wide open in shock!
