Papparazzi had Internet denizens buzzing when they caught a possible Jennifer Lopez nip slip on camera as she walked the red carpet for the Golden Globes.
“Booty” co-singer Jennifer Lopez’s booty was nowhere in sight after all attention focused on her cleavage during her 2015 Golden Globe Awards red carpet walk.
Did JLo just give everyone a glimpse of a nipple slip?
Lopez, who appears in the thriller “The Boy Next Door,” which opens on on Jan. 23, 2015, wore an extremely low cut Zuhair Murad gown whose silhouette called to mind the iconic green silk Versace dress she wore at the 42nd Grammy Awards in 2000.And while her intricate sequin-bedecked art deco-inspired outfit did not have the “to-the-navel” décolletage of the Versace, it brought forth nearly the same media coverage when JLo’s ample assets hinted at a wardrobe malfunction going on by her left breast.
Photographers and fans alike scanned her magnified photo to examine a mysterious dark shadow that might mean the appearance of her aureole.
However, what was assumed to be a nip slip was nothing more than a depression in the bronze skin of her left breast caused by fashion tape stylists use specifically to prevent a nip slip from occurring in the first place.
On the other hand, it wouldn’t be inconceivable for the 45-year-old singer and actress to laugh off any incident involving nudity. After all, isn’t this the same A-lister who wore just a couple of diaphanous emerald scarves for the 2000 Grammy Awards, catapulting herself to the ranks of the decade’s ultimate sex symbols.
JLo may have other reasons to be more modest these days, though. After all, she is a mother to six-year-old twins she has to set a good example to.
“I love him, he’s one of my favorite designers,” she told Ryan Seacrest about her Zuhair Murad masterpiece. “I actually had it at the AMAs, but I was like, this is more of a Golden Globes dress.”
