Fans of the much-awaited upcoming Marvel superhero movie will be thrilled to know that “Guardians of the Galaxy” will be featured in Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Superhero game as announced by Disney earlier this week.
Apart from the movie itself, there’s certainly more to look forward to as “Guardians of the Galaxy” is guaranteed to be making its appearance in Disney Infinity 2.0’s Marvel Superhero Game. Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, Drax, Gamora and Groot are going to be featured in the latest play set of the game series and are set to be released in time of the second version of the Disney Interactive video game, which involves the combination of on screen game play with physical figures, this fall as reported in Variety.
All these efforts were inspired by the Marvel film, which is set to hit the theaters on July 31, 2014 in the UK and on Aug. 1, 2014 in the U.S. The play set for the “Guardians of the Galaxy” goes through with the leader Star-Lord guiding his fellow Guardians in their arrival at the space station Knowhere. The team has recently stolen a magnanimous celestial object from the evil hands of Ronan the Accuser. From this point on, the players will be guiding the entire team as they aim to protect Knowhere from Ronan and his violent and skilled Sakaaran armada while also safeguarding their newly acquired item from the villain’s malicious grasp.
According to MCV, this release is an addition to the character crossovers of Iron Man of “The Avengers” set and Nova from the “Spider-Man” set. As a whole, the Guardians are basically joining their fellow Marvel Superheroes, the Avengers and Spider-Man, as a sequel to the 2013 popular Disney toys-to-life game.
In Boston Herald’s report, Disney has gone through a series of pitfalls in their launching efforts for a major video game franchise. However, they have certainly hit the mother lode when Disney Interactive launched “Disney Infinity.” Succeeding their 3 million sold out starter packs in their first release, “Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes” offers the many super heroes from the Marvel movies and comic books for the first time ever beginning on Sept. 23, 2014 as announced in San Diego Comic-Con 2014.

True enough, what can be more riveting apart from watching the movie? Of course, the main selling point of having such video games is giving their viewers the virtual taste of what it means to be a hero.
