“The Good Dinosaur” is set to hit the theatres in November and while not much has been revealed about the upcoming Disney Pixar animated movie, the synopsis for the film has recently been updated. What changes were made from the previous synopsis? Read on to learn more about this scoop.
Disney Pixar attempts to tell the tale of how humans could have lived in a world with dinosaurs in the upcoming animated movie, “The Good Dinosaur.” While the film experienced quite a lot of setbacks during production, the movie is all set for a Nov. 2015 release with an updated synopsis.
“Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of,” the updated synopsis reads, according to Stitch Kingdom.
Rotoscopers noted that the updated synopsis differs from the first two synopses in such a way that the traumatic event, which led to the unsettling of Arlo’s family in the movie, was no longer mentioned in the synopsis. The outlet also cited the fact that the new synopsis highlights the idea wherein nature has become the movie’s main character.
While there have been key changes made in the updated plot synopsis of “The Good Dinosaur,” director Peter Sohn insisted that the “heart of the story remains the same.”
Meanwhile, as the movie is gearing up for its November release, a new Pixar short film is set to debut along with “The Good Dinosaur.” According to Cartoon Brew, the short film titled, “Sanjay’s Super Team” will debut at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival in Southern France in June.
The seven-minute film will revolve around the story of an Indian boy who dreams of Gods appearing as superheroes. The outlet noted that this will Pixar’s first project with a non-white lead.
“The Good Dinosaur” comes out in theatres on Nov. 25, 2015. Stay tuned on Movie News Guide (MNG) for more updates.
