Tyra Banks is going to be the human doll again! Disney is planning to make a sequel for the popular made for TV, chick flick “Life Size” and Tyra has signed on to be the executive producer for the movie. It isn’t clear if Lindsay Lohan will be invited to star in the sequel, but we are guessing, given her age now and her inclination, she will probably not get the role.
Supermodel and sometime actress, Tyra Banks, is all set to reprise the role of Eve, the doll that comes to life when somebody speaks the incantation from a magic book. According to Cosmopolitan Magazine, the supermodel has been signed on as an executive producer for the movie and will most likely star in the movie. Tyra Banks joked that she was the only girl who could portray the character effectively.
It has been revealed that the script is being reworked even as we speak and the cast hasn’t been finalized as yet. Tyra revealed to Variety, “We have not talked about casting at all so I have no idea who is going to be the young person that will be the owner of Eve. We haven’t gotten to that.”
Lindsay Lohan will obviously not be part of the cast now that she is all grown up. Readers will recall that the original movie was centered on her character as much as it told the story of Tyra Banks’ character. This movie was one of the stepping stones which raised Lindsay Lohan’s career into the world of superstardom. Lindsay was only 11 years old when she was signed on for this movie. She went on to star in blockbusters like “Freaky Friday” and “Mean Girls” eventually.
The movie might get made next year when the script would be finalized. Meanwhile, Tyra Banks is busy with the new season “America’s Next Top Model,” which is a very successful show in its own right.
