Divergent: Allegiant Part 1” movie has recently commenced filming and fans are already anticipating for every information that they can get about the upcoming sequel. Shailene Woodley, who plays Tris in the “Divergent” movie adaptation teased fans that there will be an exciting plot twist in the sequel. Does that mean the movie will veer from Veronica Roth’s book series? Read on to learn more about this scoop.

“Allegiant” movie is still a long wait before it hits theatres. Woodley and James are back on set to film the first of the two-part finale of the “Divergent” series. Book fans are very well aware that the “Insurgent” sequel will show Tris and Four discovering the truth about the world that they live in, as they enter the Bureau of Genetic Welfare.

According to Venture Capital Post, Woodley recently revealed that while “Divergent: Allegiant” will follow the storyline of Veronica Roth’s book series, there will still be exciting plot twists that fans should look forward to.

Woodley also previously expressed excitement over the news that the finale to the “Divergent” franchise will be split into two parts. The actress seemingly shares her co-star’s sentiments about reprising their roles for another year.

“I am excited, but my very first thought, if I’m being honest was, ‘Okay. All right. That’s another years of kicking ass. Another year devoted to this character,’” Woodley told Entertainment Weekly in an earlier interview.

The 23-year-old actress also compared her role as Tris in “Divergent 3” and her previous role as Hazel in “The Fault in Our Stars.” Woodley said that she had more changing to do when she did ‘TFIOS,’ as her character needed to look frail compared to Tris who seemed strong and very capable.

“Divergent: Allegiant Part 1” opens in theatres on Mar. 18, 2016. Stay tuned on Movie News Guide (MNG) for more updates.
