Whovians, the first official full trailer of “Doctor Who” Season 8 is finally here! It premiered during the half-time at the 2014 World Cup Finals. It was a win-win moment for the fans as they have not only seen the match but also the trailer for “Doctor Who” Season 8. Read on to learn more about the trailer.

The official trailer of “Doctor Who” Season 8 is the first ever glimpse of Peter Capaldi as the 12th doctor. It has been six months since the last episode of the show aired, and within those months, we were given the chance to eagerly anticipate and even dive into Internet speculations that had been going around. Now, the anticipation is bearable because of the release of the show’s full trailer. “Doctor Who” is really coming in our TV screens!

Seeing Peter Capaldi on the trailer gives him an air of dark and dangerous aura, which fans have been hoping for. He asks Clara (Jenna Coleman), “Am I a good man?” Clara replies with “I don’t know.” She adds, “I don’t think I know who the Doctor is anymore.”

The trailer is 60 minutes long. It features mostly faces, and that includes aliens and cyborgs. We also saw a T-Rex  on a rampage in London and the Daleks, which is a favorite.

“Doctor Who” Season 8 will premiere in the UK on August 23, 2014, while ABC has confirmed that they will air the premiere episode on August 24, 2014.
