“Dominion” Season 1 Episode 3 “Broken Places” aired on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 10:00 p.m. on Syfy. Claire sacrificed her happiness with Alex in exchange of Vega’s new class order in the future. Read on to learn more about Syfy’s “Dominion” “BrokenPlaces” recap.

Previously on “Godspeed,” Alex (Christopher Egan) became worried after Claire (Roxanne McKee) and Bixby (Betsy Wilke) were almost killed by an outsider who infiltrated the House Reisen. On the other hand, the angel brothers met for the last time, while General Reisen (Alan Dale) continued with his love affair with an “eight-ball.”

“Dominion” Season 1 Episode 3 “Broken Places” was directed by Rick Jacobson and written by Dario Scardapane and Damian Ober. Gabriel (Carl Beukes) discussed a few things with William (Luke Allen-Gale) outside Vega. The previous episode revealed that William was a secret disciple of Black Acolyte, a cult group that worships Gabriel and the angels. William was told that Gabriel needed to lead his “people” in Vega.

David (Anthony Head) had been plotting on disposing Reisen on the Senate. He also asked Arika for using Helena’s airforce in order to shoot Gabriel back to heaven. Unfortunately, their plans failed after Arika received the body of her dead sister from Helena. It might be the sign that Arika was not welcome in her home city after betraying her people.

Elsewhere, Alex ran away after getting inheriting Jeep’s (Langley Kirkwood) tattoo. According to Michael, it was his share of the bargain of being the “Chosen One” to Vega. Alex was in the middle of his road-tripping adventure when he saw a couple being attacked by lower angels. His disappearance was noticed by Noma (Kim Engelbrecht), who told Ethan (Jonathan Howard) about it.

Michael was previously grilled by David and the Senate about the “neutral angels” in Vega. Speaking of neutral angels, he met up with Lewis  for updates on what side the other angels would chose. He was also informed by Ethan that Alex has gone missing. Later, Michael flew to Alex’s whereabouts to enlighten him by going to Alex’s childhood home. Alex began having flashbacks after seeing Jeep’s random handwritings.  Furiad, Gabriel’s right-hand man, came and started a fight with Michael. Now Alex got no choice but to return to Vega in order to help a badly wounded Michael.

Meanwhile, Claire found out that her daddy dearest overreacted over the previous incident. She confronted her father about arresting the people who got in contact with Felicia the Nanny.  In the end, Claire agreed to be married to William, but on one condition — the changed bill of rights for the lower caste members would be passed. The episode ended with Gabriel receiving news from Furiad. His loyal ally told him that he injured Michael. To Furiad’s surprise, Gabriel killed one of Furiad’s friends in front of him. Gabriel told Furiad that it was for putting his hands on his dear angel brother, Michael.
