“Dominion” Season 1 Episode 4 “The Flood” aired on  July 10, 2014. It was directed by Alex Holmes and written by Brusta Brown and John Mitchell Todd. Previously on “Broken Places,” Alex (Christopher Egan) helped a wounded Michael (Tom Wisdom), while Claire (Roxanne McKee) agreed to marry William (Luke Allen-Gale) in exchange of a newly amended bill of rights for the caste levels.

Michael was delivered by a worried Alex, who had seen him wounded by Furiad, Gabriel’s right-hand follower. Michael got a piece of Furiad’s sword inpaled inside him. Michael was then arrested by his fellow officials when he immediately left to look for Alex. On the other hand, Senator Becca Thorne (Rosalind Halstead) was there with him after she refused David’s (Anthony Head) request to spy on her lover. She was also there when a mysterious entity came to heal Michael’s wounds.

It was revealed that the woman was Uriel (Katrine De Candole), Michael’s sister and fellow archangel. She and Michael met to talk about hiding the Chosen One, a.k.a. Alex, from her. Later, she had given her allegiance to Michael on whatever decision he might choose. Little did he know, Uriel also pledged her loyalty to Gabriel (Carl Beukes).

On the other hand, Alex and Claire visited Bixby (Betsy Wilke) where she was staying. It seemed that Bixby’s health was not going great already. He was the target of the search headed by Senator Frost. Frost was the one who invited Consul David and General (Alan Dale) in one of Vega’s irrigation water supply tanks. When David made fun of him, Frost decided to shoot him in the leg.

Alex got no other choice but to step in when Frost staged a hostage crisis situation. He tried to convince Frost that he was indeed the Chosen One. Frost did not believe that tattoos that Alex got on his body. To his surprise, General Eddie shot Frost in the head.

After the commotion, Alex and Claire talked about the aftermath, while General Eddie and Consul David spun the story. The authorities told the people that Frost died as a hero in order to save Vega’s crop supply. David, on the other hand, strangled an ailing Bixby in her hospital room.
