It has been reported that Drake called out Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran in his new song “Live from the Gutter.” Read on for more details about Brown’s reaction to it.
According to Hollywood Life, Drake dissed Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran in his new song and Brown wasn’t happy about it. A source said that Drake was just jealous of Brown’s past relationship with Tran. Earlier this week, the 26-year-old “Loyal” singer called Drake out on Instagram for using his high-profile relationship with Tran to make people talk about his new song. The source added that Brown “gets the finest girl on the planet and all the dudes envy him for that.”
The feud doesn’t end here. Hollywood Life’s source also mentioned that Drake does not want to engage in a war of getting women with Brown. It is because Brown might just take Serena Williams from him. The source further added that Brown, who is currently single, has a tennis court in his own backyard and would love to have some private lessons with Williams.
The drama between the two music artists was reignited right after Drake released his new album “Future.” On one of the tracks, “Live from the Gutter,” he raps: “This is for my n***as on that bulls**t and that nonsense, this for my dogs who go Karrueche with the chopsticks.”
Though he did not mention Brown in the song, the said verse seemed to be written to antagonize him. Hours after Drake’s album release, Brown posted a photo of him and his one-year-old daughter Royalty along with a message that says “relying on hype to gain substance.”
I'm too blessed for the bullshit. People who have had to sit a watch me for years do me and watch their females actually love me always show their insecurities. I embrace anything God has given me. It's bigger than this music shit. I'm content with being Chris Brown. A lot of people are unhappy and a lot of these artist lie to the fans or rely on hype to gain substance. You niggas bore me. Ima keep being who God made me to be! 💯 #IAMMUSIC #othersbarelyholdanote #thesehandsworkgreat
It will be recalled that Drake and Brown haven’t been good friends since their scandalous fight in a nightclub in New York City a few years ago.
