Everybody knows that Meek Mill and Drake are battling it out with diss tracks. Veteran rapper Rick Ross has some groundbreaking advice for Meek Mill on that front. He is basically telling Meek to do what he wants to do. He told Meek to not listen to haters and continue to make music spewing hate if hate is the thing that gets Meek creative. Read on for more details.
Meek is all set to drop another diss track for Drake. It was even though their battle of words has finally moved into the cold war zone. He has already showed his ego by dropping his own rap track on Drake’s song, “Back to Back.” Now, he is gearing up for more action on the hateful songwriting front. This is the point where everybody needs sage advice from people who have already been feuding on the music front and Rick Ross is just the man. He has written several angry songs dissing 50 Cent and he is in the right position to give some elder brother advice to Meek. What was that advice? Well, he basically told him to keep battling with Drake if he feels like it.
Ross confessed to being the sort of man who will jump from the 50th floor of a building if he feels like it and nobody will ever be able to stop him. He also said that when he was younger everybody told him to lay off the emotional outbursts, but he kept at it. It was because he believes that telling the world what you think is what is expected of you if you are an artist.
“To me, that’s what the art is about. I feel like whatever it is you gonna do, if your heart is into it, that’s what you gotta do.” Ross said.
Rap battles have always been an integral part of the music industry. Recently, legendary soul singer Erykah Badu had also come forward to say that she loved to hear about the beef. She said that this is what hip hop is all about and that’s the way they are supposed to handle it.
