Drake Shelves Third Diss Track Aimed at Meek Mill; Calls It Quits On the Feud

Drake is taking the high road. In an uncharacteristic move, the Canadian rapper has decided to shelve his third ‘diss track’ aimed at Meek Mill, his rival for the affections of label mate Nicki Minaj. Read on to find out more.

Drake’s much anticipated new album “Views from the 6”  is about to hit the stores this year, and much of the fuel for the “Energy” rapper has been collected from his ongoing (very public) feud with Mill. But Drake, it would seem, has had enough of the fight and has decided to not to publish the track, putting it on hold indefinitely.

“I don’t know if it will ever be released but I don’t see him dropping that joint anytime soon and it’s very dope, I can confidently say that it would end Meek for good. There would be no coming back if this track had gotten out,” sources close to the rapper have revealed to the hip-hop website Urban Islandz.

Tall claims indeed, but records show that Drake’s album sells have only increased since his feud while Mill’s have been steadily falling. We would like to congratulate the former for this rare display of good sense chosen over economic benefit.

In the mean time, Mill has readily eaten the humble pie on twitter saying his beef with Drake was not real. But  fans of a good ol’ fashioned rap-feud. It was now being compared to the one between notorious B.I.G and Tupac. On the other hand, we still have Drake’s very hilarious diss on Mill at the OVO Fest.

Drake and Mill’s feud started when the latter slammed Drake for not writing his own tracks. But the 28-year-old rapper responded in style with his diss track. We guess this feud has a definite winner, and it’s definitely Drake.
