Fans of Benedict Cumberbatch’s show, “Sherlock,” can now wear their idol’s face on their legs via a new fashion line carrying the unlikely name of “Cumberbitch.”

Academy Award nominee and “Sherlock” star Benedict Cumberbatch has inspired a new line of pop-culture designer wear from LA’s Poprageous fashion brand. They’re calling it “Cumberbitch,” featuring leggings and crop tops with prints of the actor’s face all over the fabric.

For “Sherlock” fanatics who can’t get enough of the British actor, Cumberbatch’s face is tiled all over Cumberbitch’s clothing items, giving fans the best view of the 38-year-old “Imitation Game” star’s face from all angles wherever they look.

The critically acclaimed actors’ face may now be seen everywhere his fans are, in multiples of hundreds, and even thousands, depending on the Cumberbitch clothing of choice.

Costing a bargain at anywhere from US$80 to US$125, Cumberbitch cropped tees and leggings are touted to be the season’s sartorial choices for the pop-culture savvy, not to mention a launching pad for the newly-engaged actor’s face into pop culture phenomenon-dom.

Apart from being a classically trained thespian with a noted high IQ and fine-tuned sense of outrageousness, Cumberbatch has himself has distinguished his particular brand of humor from various antics over the past few years, which include photobombing A-list stars, funny dancing to Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love” at “The Graham Norton Show,” doing hilarious impressions of Taylor Swift and fellow British actor, Tom Hiddleston, and even imitating Jar Jar Binks from “Star Wars.”

With his infamous clowning around on and off camera, it wouldn’t seem like quite a stretch for a clothing line to be born with his face on it.

While Cumberbatch may have expressed his dismay over the collective term “Cumberbitches” as a word that’s set back feminism quite a bit, its clear his fans are adamant about using the label to describe themselves, and he may also have to resign himself to accept the fact that Cumberbitches and the Cumberbitch clothing line is here to stay.
