“Dumb and Dumber To,” has released its first trailer. The said film is the sequel to 1994’s “Dumb and Dumber” starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, which was directed by Peter and Bobby Farrelly. The Farrelly brothers are still directing “Dumb and Dumber To.” It is scheduled to be released in theaters on Nov. 14, 2014, but Universal Pictures has already released its trailer. Watch the video at the end of this article to have a peek at it.

According to Variety, the first trailer of “Dumb and Dumber To” was unveiled at “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday night, June 10, 2014.  Carrey and Daniels were guests at Fallon’s show.

Carrey and Daniels will reprise their roles and play the dimwitted best friends Lloyd Christmas (Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Daniels). “Dumb and Dumber To” is set twenty years after the friends’ first adventure (or misadventures!) Who can forget the duo’s hilarious scenes including the ones in the snow, right? Watch the video below to reminisce on some of the funniest scenes in “Dumb and Dumber.”

The Wikipedia page of “Dumb and Dumber To” indicates that the film’s plot is about Lloyd and Harry trying to find their long lost children because they are hoping to get a new kidney. The “Dumb and Dumber” sequel also stars Jennifer Lawrence and Kathleen Turner as Fraida Felcher, Laurie Holden as Adele Pichlow, Rachel Melvin as Penny Pichlow, Steve Tom as Dr. Pichlow, Brady Bluhm as Billy in (Apartment) 4C and Rob Riggle as the twins Travis and Captain Lippencott. It reportedly has a budget worth $35 million.

Peter and Bobby Farrelly also worked on the film’s script, along with other co-writers Sean Anders, Bennett Yellin, Mike Cerrone and John Morris. Riza Aziz, Charles B. Wessler, Bradley Thomas and Joey McFarland produced the film.

A little known trivia about the Lloyd Christmas character is that his chipped front tooth is actually real and not just a prosthetic worn by Jim Carrey.  According to Mark Deming of All Movie Guide, Carrey really has a chipped tooth. He had it capped before, but decided to remove it for “Dumb and Dumber” because he thought that it suited the character.
