“Elementary” Season 2 Episode 20 “No Lack Of Void” was aired on April 10, 2014. The episode began with the investigations of Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and Joan Watson (Lucy Liu) on the case of anthrax poisoning. They must act fast and find the source in order to stop the killings.

A homeless man accidentally swallowed a pouch of anthrax, which was supposed to be loaded with cocaine. So, technically there wasn’t an attack. Another man named Eugene MacIntosh was found dead due to anthrax. Then, the case led to investigate the victim’s brother, who works in the farm. The victim’s brother was played by “Raising Hope” star Garret Dillahunt.

Sherlock tried to watch the farm and found two guys with letters to the Congress and jars of white powder. Sherlock learned that the brother wanted to poison the cows so that he can use their infected milk. The MacIntosh brothers wanted to earn money by faking the insurance of the cows. Eugene found out about this and was shot by his brother.

On the other hand, Sherlock mourned the death of his dear friend. Alistair who died due to heart problems a week before he could have a meeting with Sherlock. The last episode also showed flashbacks about the friendship of Alistair and Sherlock.
