Ellen DeGeneres made her worst decision ever! Emmy award winner host admitted: “Judging “American Idol” was one of the WORST decision I’ve made.” Read on for more details.

The 57-year-old host joined “American Idol” in 2010 for its tenth season as one of the judges alongside with Kara DioGuardi, Simon Cowell, and Randy Jackson. It may seem fun and a dream come true, but for the host…being part of it doesn’t entertain her—she doesn’t seem to miss her judging days either.

When DeGeneres appeared on Howard Stern SiriusXM radio show last Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015, the comedienne vocally said that she “hated” her job in Fox singing competition, “American Idol.” It’s not because of her co-workers but because she couldn’t bring herself from giving painful criticisms and continue telling to those dreamers the words “Sorry” and “No.”

“The Ellen DeGeneres Show” host said: “That’s one of the worst decisions I’ve made.”

She admitting that before she joined the show and be one of the judges, she thought it would definitely be an easy task as she just have to let out what she thought about the contestant’s performance. It’s a chance for her to represent the opinions of the viewers at home, but it turned out that she just fooled herself—she can’t bring herself to say harsh comments to those people who dream to be part of the show, cited by Time Magazine.

She also added that she’s a fan of the singing competition. It does not matter to her if she knows how to sing or if she knows anything about pitch. She compared herself to those people sitting in their sofa at home and watching “American Idol” who wants to expressed their opinions to those contestants, but then she thought: “I can’t break this person’s heart. Let somebody else do that.”

“When you’re looking at them in the face — you do feel like, ‘Jesus Christ, I don’t know that I feel comfortable telling this person.”

Moreover, according to Us Weekly, Ellen DeGeneres isn’t the only former judge to expressed his opinion to the show. Mariah Carey told in her interview with “The Kyle and Jackie O Show” that she didn’t want to be part of the show again.
