Actress Emily VanCamp is all set for her comeback in the upcoming movie “Phase Three, Captain America: Civil War” by Marvel where she would be playing the role of Sharon Carter.

While Vancamp did not reveal much about upcoming showdown between Iron man played by Robert Downey Jr. and Captain America (Chris Evans) in “Avengers”, it is obvious, whose side, the actress is on!

On Tuesday, VanCamp spoke to Entertainment Tonight where she said that Sharon should be definitely on Team Captain America’s side.

The 29-year-old also revealed that Sharon could be even seen doing some action sequences in “Civil War.” She shared that there is a brief action sequence with Scarlett Johansson in the film that she enjoyed tremendously while shooting.

As far as the plot in the original comic books goes, VanCamp states that the Captain America and Sharon have a romantic association. However, the plot gets a bit complicated as Sharon is “Agent” Peggy Carter’s niece. But will that romance be played out in the cinematic universe?

Vancamp agrees that it gets tricky out there. This is because there are so many die-hard fans and loyalists who would love to see him with many people.

Another debatable element for the fandom of Marvel is the main conflict in “Civil War” where the ex-teammates of Avengers are pitted against each other.  VanCamp reveals that her anxiousness was no less to find out how the battle shaped up.

VanCamp initially wondered and that was even before she had gone through the script that how everything would shape up. But she also admitted that one needs to see both sides of the perspective. She feels the sequences were shot really well.

Emily VanCamp is now working in a small indie project titled “The Girl in the Book” that was a smooth transition for her from her mega-budget movies. This is because the actress is convinced that she need to work in diverse projects to be a good artist.
