The photo shoot has been completely un-retouched and the Addie Singer has gone sans Photoshop for empowering #AerieREAL campaign. The campaign was launched at Eric Buterbaugh Perfumery in Los Angeles on August 21.
The “Adult World” actress says she knows how people get insecure about their pictures on social networking sites and so they post pictures that aren’t real. She added that she wanted to get portrayed the way she is, without hair and make-up done, as stated by The Celebrity Auction. Emma wants to promote the idea to look real, with no make-up or Photoshop.
According to Refinery29, the #AerieREAL campaign was shot by famous celebrity photographer and director Ali Mitton. The campaign features the singer cum actress in a flirty mode playing with her casually styled hair locks and smiley rosy hue on face. She wore lacy lingerie with girlish thread paired with cosy cardigan and lots of cutesy smiles all over.
Emma Roberts’, close aides and friends sisters-cum-fashion designers Kara and Brit Smith, did the endearing styling for #AerieREAL campaign. The two sisters work under the LA label Elkin. She believes people will be inspired with the idea of going sans Photoshop. Looking real is actually really cool.
The label “Aerie” actually launched the campaign take a stand against the use of photo manipulation and their images are refreshing which will definitely inspire celebs and companies to promote the idea.
